I’m so excited to officially announce that I’m working on my very first solo Crochet-Along: the Sundae Bears CAL!
This cozy summer crochet event will feature adorable ice cream inspired bears with fun toppings, sweet colors, and lots of mix-and-match creativity.
Over the next few weeks, I’ll be sharing sneak peeks, flavor reveals, and behind-the-scenes progress as we get closer to the official Crochet-Along launch later this June.

Crochet update:
What crochet skill do you need to participate in this crochet along? For this event all you need to know is the basic of Amigurumi to be able to make this pattern! This event will not teach you how to crochet but will provide a fun crochet pattern for free and have access to a group chat if you wish to join if you have any questions.
You do not know the basic of crocheting Amigurumi or need a little refresher? No worries, get ready for the crochet along today. I have several YouTube videos teaching you the basics! Hi my name is Carolann and I am the designer behind CocoKnittedCreations and all the patterns you find on this blog. Here is a little bit about me below🫶

Before starting make sure to watch the face sculpting video below! You will need it for your bear. It is a very important part of the pattern to get the signature look of my designs!
Just a reminder! Part 1 will be available from June 29th to July 6th and then removed and replaced with part 2!

- 3mm crochet hook
- Loops & Thread Petite Purl in color of your choice (this will be the ice cream bear)
- Lion Brand Pound of Love in pumpkin pie (for the waffle cone bag)
- Any worsted weight yarn for the toppings, color of choice
- Stitch Markers
- Tapestry needle
- Poly Fill
- Safety eyes 16mm x2
- Safety nose 14mm
- Scissors

This pattern is written using American crochet terminology. This pattern is worked in continuous rounds unless stated otherwise.

MC: magic circle
Inc: increase

sc: single crochet
Dec: invisible decrease -insert hook into next front loop, yarn over and pull up a loop] 2 times, yarn over and pull through all 3 loops on hook.

Sew the arms on R24.
Sew the legs sitting style between R36 and R41, or standing on R36.
Sew the feet to the belly if you make it sit.
Sew the ears between R3 and R9, 10sts apart.
Sew the tail between R33 and R37.
You have now completed your bear!
